The mission at Paddleboard.com is simple: We want to create a unique, organic, inclusive, credible, inspiring, legitimate, hype-free, down-to-earth, straight-talking, entertaining, interactive, intelligent, forward-thinking, big-tented, enlightening, adventure-inducing hub, crafted by and for an international community of people inspired by the ocean. To this end, we cover the sports of paddleboarding, freediving, surfing, spearfishing, outrigger canoeing, bodysurfing, ocean swimming, and plenty more that we probably haven’t thought of yet. We took the name “Paddleboard.com” because it seems to us that there’s an aesthetic and an ethic that attends paddleboarding—the image of one person, with only his or her arms, headed out to sea—that summed up nicely what we wanted to do.
