Come race Santa Cruz Sep 28!
Catalina is in the rear view mirror and you are wondering what to do with all this fitness you've built. Might I suggest coming up to Santa Cruz/Capitola to race in the "Battle on the Bay," Sunday September 28.
We've got a great long course option - 8 miles that is about 2/3's of the well known Jay Race course. We've also got a 2 mile sprint course that goes in and out of the surf zone a few times - race on a stock or a 10.6. And there will be beach flags for those who like to run and dive in the sand.
It's the best time of year to come to the area, and we'd love to have all you SoCal paddlers come up.

If you want to get in even more racing, you could consider doing a race the day before in SF (see Paddle Guru for Battle of the Bay in Sausalito).
